I know this is just a potential rumor of what is probably a Ranger fan's wish list, but why in the world would Winnipeg trade Evander Kane, even if he is going to be a UFA? He's by far the best player on their team. They'd essentially have to start over without him. Sometimes, you just have to write the check, and if I was a Jets fan, I'd stay home if they move this player. Franchise suicide .

That said, if he is legitimately being moved, it would be flat out stupid for any team not to inquire.....

Yeah- then there's no point in that, is there? He's one of the best players in the league, from what I've seen this year...

As for Okposo, if I was the GM, first large, above average defenseman who can skate at an NHL level takes him.

still can't fathom why the Kings would want an aging Iginla or Jagr in their lineup, and at what cost? they already don't have a first rounder in this draft, and they still lack the physical defensemen to replace mitchell and greene to balance their pairings.

I don't understand why you can't just say Gaborik, everybody knows you are insinuating Gaborik. However nobody would willingly accept a trade to Winnipeg over New York. NMC's are a female dog.
